Well, look at this. My good friends Chris Johnson (he of famous mute exercise videos) and Ryan Debell (he of the superb MovementFix series) have created running and strength and conditioning programs. I'm being a total shill here because I am biased towards these guys. It is a very good program (I get nothing for saying this although Chris did let me sleep in his basement for a weekend) and you can see it here.
They've developed interactive pdf running programs that help you get faster while still having a life and don't lead to your other athletic abilities go downhill. The programs blend running with straightforward strength training. What I am envious of is the integration of the videos and demos within the pdf. If you aren't sure of the exercise, you click on the exercise and up pops the video. I took a screen shot below.
As a therapist I think using this program with your patients could certainly be valuable. You don't have to use the entire program but you can use it as blueprint to modify a running program, get people started with a running program and certainly improve someone's training.
It also is a good source for exercise videos. The exercises are straightforward, comprehensive and certainly applicable to a lot of conditions.
Good work guys.
